A Traditional Menu Cover

September 29, 2009

With the majority of your competition using a traditional menu cover usually made from some type of faux leather, it can be easy to stand out among the crowd.  Now, there is nothing inherently wrong with using a vinyl menu cover, it is just that for a more refined or elegant look, this type just doesn’t cut the mustard.  If you want to impress, you should consider spending a bit more.

Menu covers don’t have to take up the lion’s share of your expense budget, but they should come into play when deciding on the important features for your restaurant.  Think about it as a way to showcase your food choices or style even before your guests taste the first bite.  If your menu cover leaves them with a lot to be desired, then the food will not seem as delectable.  Does this mean if you get the best covers for your menus that money can buy that you can skate by without having to worry about the quality of your dishes?  Of course not, that would be silly.  All it means is that the right menu cover can provide your guests with the type of impression that you would like to give.
