We recently decided that we were going to get an aluminum door awning over our front door. There were a few reasons for our decision, one was that we simply miss Europe. My husband and I got back from an extended vacation, we spent 3 months travelling around Italy and France, and we absolutely loved the style of the houses there, especially the colourful awnings. Our neighbours think we’re crazy, but we’re not doing it for them.
The thing I love about these awnings is that it really makes your front door inviting. We get a lot of visitors, for some reason our home is a hub of activity for friends and neighbours. We’re not complaining, we love the company, and the addition of a door awning is a way of use letting our guests know that they are welcome in our home.
