Most parents are not experts in raising children. As with previous generations, they raise their kids as they were raised and continue to learn as they go along. Child development services are no replacement for parents but they can help parents to recognize when their child is developing slowly or not at all in a certain area. Recognition of these states can allow the parent to intervene soon enough in a child’s development to make course corrections before it’s too late.
One way that parents raise their children today that was not available centuries ago is to use a wooden baby walker to help contain their child. To prevent injuries, however, it’s recommended that parents only use baby walkers that have been approved and certified by the Juvenile Products manufacturers Association to make sure that they’ve been built with the most recent safety precautions.
