There are a few tips that you need to keep in mind when trying to select bait. Basically the best thing that you can do is start a foundation and then go from there. Once you can get a general idea you can increase your odds of catching fish.
Worms are usually the best thing to start off with. You can ether try live bait or just stick with synthetic. I have found that both types of bait work fairly well.
