The kitchen is full of many items that have a very utilitarian purpose, but need to have an attractive and aesthetically pleasing face. The refrigerator, for example, is very important for keeping your food cold; but it needs to look good from the outside and match the other appliances. Your kitchen cupboard doors are just as important. Of course, cupboards and cabinets hold the dishes, pots, pans, glasses and dry food. Nevertheless, they are also the single biggest item in your kitchen that people can see with their eyes. You want the doors to look clean, and portray the style of the room. For example, if your kitchen has all stainless steel appliances and black marble counter tops then maybe cabinet door fronts painted with a black glossy paint would be appropriate.
