I don’t blame anyone for trying find every single free construction lead that they possibly can. After all, we’re in a very difficult recession and anything you can do to save money and cut costs is a time well spent. You should be aware, however, that if you come across a lead service that is offering free opportunities to bid on projects then there are probably strings attached. They might be trying to lock you into a long term agreement where you’d end up paying quite a bit on the tail end.
Instead of messing with these lead services I’d advise you to use your skills and creativity to make your own luck. There are ways to get your own free leads, and taking advantage of the internet and web marketing is a step in the right direction. Take matters into your own hands so that you don’t even need the lead generators at all.
