My boss insists on hand addressing all of the Christmas party invitations herself. I find this really funny because not only does her handwriting leave something to be desired, but it is also a humongous waste of her time. I say this because she makes a ton more money than any of us. If you wanted to give even crazier about it you can easily address the envelopes using a printer. She insists that its necessary and that she should be the one to do it. I really think it’s just that she enjoys doing them. Obviously. The other problem with doing this is that she’s not particularly quick about it. Usually by the time we get to even making the invitations it is really late in the year and they should have already gone out. This usually happens because she hasn’t yet made up her mind on where were going to have the party and when it is going to happen. We always end up spending more money because of this every year. Oh well, at least she enjoys it.
