Chances are there are a lot of mold removal companies out there who are honest enough to hire. But, what do you do when you hire a mold removal company whose work you were dissatisfied with or worse yet, whose honesty wasn’t even there to begin with.
First, you should start by confronting the company in a firm but calm tone. Don’t yell, but don’t become a pushover either. State specifically what the problem is like for example, the mold in the attic wasn’t sprayed with the correct product that you requested. Then ask them to work with you on fixing the problem.
Second, if the company’s mold inspector refuses your requests, ask to speak to his or her boss. If things still aren’t going smoothly, ask to see someone higher up until you’re talking to the owner if necessary.
Finally, if all else fails, seek a lawyer who specializes in cases similar to mold removal companies. Once you’ve discussed what rights as a client that you have against the company you may learn that you have a very good case.
