Repairing My Credit

November 17, 2009

I had some tough financial times a few years ago when I lost my job. I tried to make my payments on time but it became more and more difficult and some payments were late. Some were quite a bit late. A while later I tried to buy a house but got turned down because my credit was very poor. I found out I had to start repairing my credit if I was going to get anywhere. It took some time but by paying everything on time, reducing my overall debt and avoiding new loans and applications I was able to greatly improve my credit score and I was able to qualify for a bad credit mortgage. Fixing your credit is time consuming and takes work but it is well worth it when you can buy your first home.
