Running Blogs

June 28, 2009

My best friend was a blogger for over 8 years. He started off blogging about travel and politics – his two passions – but he has also worked on a number of different sites. Everything from Axel’s Guitar Blog to Katie’s Gardening Message Board has been graced by his presence and he currently writes for blog on male pattern baldness in addition to his usual politics and travel sites. While you might find it strange that one person would be willing to write on so many different topics, he assures me that within the online world that is the blogosphere this practice is fairly common.

As my buddy tells it, most bloggers write less so because they are passionate about one particular topic (don’t get me wrong, there are countless people out there doing this because they believe in the cause) but rather because they are opinionated individuals with a knack for writing and internet access. More often than not, your average blogger is just someone who is slightly above average in intelligence and has a strong insistence on making their voice heard. If you don’t believe me see for yourself; you will see the same bloggers popping up on various blogs throughout the internet.
