Summer time is the perfect time for a nice tropical wedding. Tropical wedding centerpieces are easy to come by in spades. Some of the most beautiful centerpieces are tropical designs, and although they are tropical, they do not have to be expensive.
Using tropical flowers in your tropical centerpieces can get expensive. Make sure that you look into the cost of using tropical flowers before you commit to it. Because most of them cannot be grown in the continental United States, they have to shipped from Hawaii and other warmer weather climates. This means that they get expensive and can easily wilt or become damaged in transit. Before you make your final decision of using flowers, you should consider silk flowers or even using just a few tropical flower petals to keep your costs down.

Fruit is a fun way to have wedding centerpieces that people can take home with them if they choose. There are many interesting tropical fruits that can be incorporated into a design that will be not only stunning but economical and fun. Consider using pineapples, mangoes, starfruit and kiwis in your design. If you can, slice some of them up so that you can show their pretty insides. If you keep them in the fridge or freezer up until the time you need them, they should last the entire time of the reception. If it is going to be hot in the place you are holding the wedding, than be sure to spritz them with lemon juice so that your fruit doesn’t brown and start to turn before you can display it.
Another very inexpensive way you can incorporate tropical wedding centerpieces on a budget into your reception is to use seashells. There is nothing that says tropical better than surf and sand. Getting little glass vases and filling the bottoms with seashells and water is a great way to have a little centerpiece that you can float a candle on top or even some fresh flower petals. It’s an inexpensive idea but looks beautiful on the table.
