Shoes are a special subject for me. I own about 120 pairs so I can call myself an expert. My husband certainly considers me an expert, too much of one by his view. What he doesnt understand, and what women do understand, is that shoes are a vital part of our wardrobe. We don’t just buy shoes for function, we buy a shoe for style, flair, comfort and the “Ahhhhh” factor. And thats never more important than on our wedding day, when all eyes are upon us.
So, while I was randomly browsing the web (you can read that as: shoe shopping), I came across Faith Wedding Shoes and thought about how cute and sassy their platform shoes were. That led me to thinking about whats proper for a pair of wedding shoes. My answer was, anything.
I wore red patent leather platform shoes under my white tulle dress. In fact they were so popular the picture I have here is one from one of the 20 friends who asked to take a picture of my shoes at my wedding. It was cute and quirky and I got my “oohs” and “ahhs” from them, which is exactly what I planned in the first place.
So the answer to what kind of wedding shoes are right for your wedding day: Any darn shoes you want!
