Yoga is a great way to get into shape. I have been a personal trainer for over a year and I can honestly tell you that everyone could benefit from doing yoga. All you need is a mat, yoga pants and an instructor and you are on your way to getting into the best shape of your life. I personally feel that men will benefit from yoga even more because they are typically less flexible than women. Yoga is great because it is a wonderful workout while giving you a stretching routine that lasts the whole duration of the class. About 95% of men have poor flexibility and yoga is the perfect way to work that out. You should never stretch a cold muscle and yoga makes sure you are very warmed up while stretching.
